Salary:

– Grade 1: R906,540 – R975,738 per annum (all-inclusive package)

– Grade 2: R1,034,373 – R1,129,116 per annum (all-inclusive package)

– Grade 3: R1,197,150 – R1,491,627 per annum (all-inclusive package)

Requirements:

– Appropriate qualification allowing registration with HPCSA as a medical practitioner.

– HPCSA registration as an independent medical practitioner and must be post Community Service.

– Current HPCSA registration for 2023/2024.

– Completed FCA 1 (or equivalent) or DA with FCA 1 subjects OR DA.

– Experience: Grade 1 (0-5 years), Grade 2 (5-10 years), Grade 3 (10 years and above).

Duties:

– Interviewing, investigating, diagnosing, and overseeing patient treatment.

– Performing administrative duties.

– Supervising junior doctors.

– Availability for commuted overtime.

– Attendance of departmental meetings and completion of necessary documents.

– Improving quality of care and reducing medical litigation.

– Implementing and monitoring adherence to National Core Standards.

– Performing practical procedures relevant to anaesthesia.

– Participating in departmental activities and education.

– Rendering after-hour duties for continuous patient care.
