– Grade 1: R1,214,805 – R1,288,095 per annum (all-inclusive package)

Requirements:

– Appropriate qualification allowing registration with HPCSA as a Medical Specialist in Otorhinolaryngology.

– Current registration with HPCSA (2023/2024).

– Experience: Grade 1 (0-5 years), Grade 2 (5-10 years), Grade 3 (10 years and above).

Duties:

– Investigation, diagnosis, and treatment of patients in the ENT department.

– Provision of comprehensive clinical services, including outpatient clinics, ward management, and surgical operations.

– Supervision of junior medical staff.

– Availability for after-hour duties (night, weekend, and public holidays) to ensure continuous patient care.

– Attendance of administrative meetings and completion of necessary documents.

– Participation in the academic program, teaching, research, and MMed supervision.

– Proper record keeping and reporting to the head of unit on service delivery and quality improvement.

– Collaboration with related departments and outreach programs.

– Preparation of reports and assistance with administration responsibilities.

– Strengthening regional and district health systems.
